Position Overview-
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Data Analyst to strengthen our Data Governance and Data Quality capabilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, reliability, documentation, and compliance across our data ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in data quality frameworks, governance documentation, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a high sense of ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to translate data governance requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead data quality initiatives, including defining, implementing, and monitoring data quality rules,controls, and KPIs.
Identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation plans in collaboration with data engineering and business teams.
Develop and maintain data governance documentation (data dictionaries, data lineage, business glossaries, standards, policies).
Partner with stakeholders to define data standards, critical data elements (CDEs), and quality thresholds.
Support and contribute to Data Governance forums, frameworks, and operating models.
Ensure data is compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Write complex SQL queries to profile, validate, and analyze datasets.
Work within Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery cycles.
Support ad hoc business requests by providing reliable, well-documented data insights.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Required Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Strong SQL skills (data profiling, joins, aggregations, performance optimization).
Proven experience in Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
Experience leading data quality initiatives end-to-end.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.
Experience documenting data standards, policies, and governance artifacts.
