About the Opportunity
Cloud Pivot Technologies is looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen cloud security across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud security architecture, identity and access management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Conduct cloud security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses.
- Monitor security threats and support incident response and remediation.
- Implement Zero Trust security principles and cloud security best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to implement DevSecOps practices.
- Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and governance requirements.
- Evaluate and implement cloud security tools to enhance threat visibility and protection.
Required Technical Skills
- Microsoft Azure Security and/or AWS Security
- Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, MFA, and Conditional Access
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent SIEM tools
- Vulnerability Management and Incident Response
- Security Monitoring, Risk Assessment, and Compliance
- Scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Good to Have
- Terraform, Kubernetes, and Container Security
- DevSecOps and Zero Trust Architecture
- AWS Security Hub, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Wiz, or CrowdStrike
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
